Ewart Helyar has given his life to serving the Lord in a varied ministry starting with the Railway Mission, followed by a church ministry at Lindfield and finally Eastbourne, Sussex. His wife, Ethelwyne, died in 2006 after a lifetime of service together and Ewart, now at the age of 87 still continues his ministry in South Street and other local churches.
